San Juan Cosalá is a Mexican town located in the state of Jalisco, within the municipality of Jocotepec.
This town, which is the second largest in population in the municipality of Jocotepec, is known for its hot springs and temazcales. When visiting this place, a visit to Piedra Barrenada is a must, a perfect place for an excellent meal in any of its restaurants and at the same time enjoy the view that these places offer us. This town is also rich in history so we cannot forget "El Hospitalito" one of the oldest Franciscan buildings in the region, it has its temple that was built on what was part of the atrium and cemetery. And we cannot miss the natural elements that it offers us such as the waterfalls found on its hill, the deposits (known as eye of water) and the caves that served during the time of the Cristiada as a hiding place for some Catholics.
