Official “Closet” lyrics:
I’m in my room
Thinkin’ bout all the things I’ve been holdin’ onto
Life been lifin’ lately, I need something new
Over you
Makin’ such a mess in my mind
A girl’s gotta start fresh sometimes
So here I am on Tuesday night
Sweats are on, my hair tied
Makin’ space, gotta say that it feels nice
Been waiting for a real long time

So I’m cleanin’ out my closet
Gettin’ rid of all the shit I don’t need anymore
Cause I don’t know why I bought it
I don’t want it
If it’s not meant for me, let it go

I’m out with the old, in with the new
Best friends turn to ex-friends, cut ‘em loose
I had a messy little hit list
And one by one, I blew ‘em kisses
On a Tuesday night
Music on, lil mood light
Glass of wine, put the baggage outside
Been waiting for a real long time

So I’m cleanin’ out my closet
Gettin’ rid of all the shit I don’t need anymore
Cause I don’t know why I bought it
I don’t want it
If it’s not meant for me, let it go

Beep-beep-beep, throw it in the backseat-seat
I don’t need nothin’ that I don’t need
I was knee deep in a sea of don’t pick me’s
But look at me know
So I’m cleanin’ out my closet
Gettin’ rid of all the shit I don’t need anymore
Cause I don’t know why I bought it
I don’t want it
If it’s not meant for me, let it go

So I’m cleanin’ out my closet
Gettin’ rid of all the shit I don’t need anymore
Cause I don’t know why I bought it
I don’t want it
If it’s not meant for me, let it go
