The Ford Fiesta has long been Britain’s best selling car, but so far in 2021 this hugely popular supermini - now in its seventh-generation - has been trailing its perennial rival, the Vauxhall Corsa, in the new car registration charts. But now, Ford is fighting back with this: the new, facelifted Ford Fiesta, and it’s on sale now. The refreshed supermini features a new design, an updated interior and additional technology. There’s no fully-electric variant, but a pair of mild-hybrid engines are available, with the option of a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. But is it enough to knock the Corsa off its perch?
